3. Makalu

Makalu is best-known for its perfect form of the pyramid. Makalu Mountain is 8,485m high and its name comes from the Sanskrit word Maha-Kala, which means “Big Black.” Makalu is located between Nepal and China, in Nepal’s Makalu-Barun National Park.
