2. Venezuela
Although known for being one of the largest oil exporters, Venezuela is known for another, but not so good thing – a high rate of homicide. This South American country is struggling with many problems such as poverty, inflation and economic crisis, but a major problem is killing of people. Last year, in 2017, only 19% of the population felt safe. The reason for such a low percentage is that 53.7 people out of the 100,000 in Venezuela will be killed.
